About ANBO
With over 180,000 members, ANBO is the Netherlands' largest organisation representing the interest of senior citizens. ANBO is an independent body and in the political arenas of The Hague, and in municipal councils too, it stands up for effective policies in the areas of healthcare, income, housing and mobility and participation. To keep us up-to-speed on the interests of our supporters, we regularly consult members via, among other methods, our ANBO Panel.
Vision
ANBO believes in a society in which everyone can remain a fully valued participant and in which everybody's worth and qualities remain acknowledged and utilised. ANBO believes in solidarity. This is why policies for the aged must always be integral with other policies and cannot be sacrificed in the interests of other groups.
Mission
ANBO aims to represent the interests of all senior citizens in the Netherlands, both current and future. ANBO is committed to maintain and improve the quality of life for current and future generations of senior citizens, with the emphasis on emancipation, participation, solidarity between generations and freedom of choice.
ANBO contributes to social change and offers added value to the lives of its (potential) members. It does this by offering individual and collective representation, reliable and expert information, services and membership advantages and services.
